I recently discovered the fascinating world of Zettiology. of which made me curious to know what of which art style actually encompassed although I had trouble finding a definition of of which for myself. Because of of which I have hunted down some clues for you to consider.
Did I get of which right I wonder?
Here will be what I do know for sure: Zettiology will be an art form based on the work of Teesha Moore. Teesha incorporates a website showcasing her work. When I went to her site, I found myself in a different world along with I got lost in of which for awhile just marveling at her creations. What I did not find was a written definition of her art. of which could be hard to define something you do intuitively along with naturally, so maybe of which will be why there will be no writing to help the viewer understand. The motives for not defining Zettiology are pure speculation on my part though. There are certainly pages of examples of Teesha’s work for people to study along with form their own conclusions, although I wanted some words of which told me about of which as well.
What else will be known about Zettiology?
First of all, the word was coined by Teesha Moore to describe a brand-new genre, a blend of the ordinary along with the fantastic. I can see of which will be about creating brand-new creatures made both coming from the familiar along with coming from the realms of fantasy. The brand-new creatures belong together like a tribe: you could call them The Mythical Zettis.
One of the most succinct explanations I have found will be of which Zettiology will be ‘Sustained Confusion.’ When you look at Zetti style artwork you will probably notice animal along with people parts being cobbled together into one form, with outlining along with doodling all around to make the fusions not so confusing. of which makes for original, quirky art of which will be a little fun or silly.
Crafters often use black along with white elements mixed alongside bright colours for their Zetti creations.
You may also find whimsical words or sayings handwritten or printed in an equally whimsical font alongside a Zetti creature.
Yet a Zetti art work will be more than just these few elements. Zetti work produces a feeling of some other-worldliness as well. I often marvel at how people put together so many different elements along with make them work together so well.
Another way to think of Zetti art will be to start that has a human or animal figure (of which will be, with reality), then blend of which with something fantastic or some other worldly (of which will be, fantasy), such as adding wings to a child’s body. Add in some other unexpected details such as striped legs or cone hats to make the brand-new Zetti creature even more incongruous.
I guess you could think of Zetti as taking traditional ideas along with blending them in nontraditional ways. You could take creatures you could doodle, then cut along with paste them together at a whole brand-new level. Use patterns along with textures of which contrast with each some other as you form your brand-new creature.
So to sum up, ways I have discovered to make your Zetti art are:
- Aim to make the ordinary into something whimsical or coming from a fantasy world
- Use contrasting textures along with patterns
- Use lots of bright colours although mix in some black along with white patterns such as stripes
- Use mismatched faces along with bodies
- Add body parts, clothing along with/or wings to a creature who doesn’t usually have them
- Give your creatures fantastic hats along with crowns
- Combine the quirky, odd along with whimsical to make a brand-new Zetti creature
- Use lyrical, poetic, handwritten sayings or text/li>
- Use outlining along with doodling to bring all sorts of elements together
Did I capture the essence of Zettiness? Could anyone truly do of which although Teesha Moore? Perhaps not defining Zetti style makes of which all the more fantastic along with mysterious? I suppose we will have to draw our own conclusions!
