Why Do Helicopters Hover One Skid Low?

I have been asked a lot times why helicopters hover with one skid low. Helicopters having a counter clockwise rotating rotor system hover left skid low as well as also helicopters having a clockwise rotating rotor system hover right skid low.
today there are two factors to consider in order to explain This particular phenomenon. The first one will be what we call translating tendency or tail rotor drift.
